Customers (Employers) and Job Seekers
Have Joint Needs to be Fulfilled
Joint Needs
Employers willing to provide positions in targeted population areas within
their country are able to take advantage of the preferred migrant status.
This ensures some of the provisions are easier to attain for migrating
workers and helps in smoother relationships with the new staff resource.
The common goal to improve the position of both parties usually
motivates all to help each other gain a well planned transition. This
careful considerate planning by the new employer would lower the cost of
living and transport, ensuring success. This should lower the financial
pressure on their sponsors and any supporting extended family
members. In turn, this shortens the time span before the new migrant can
return remittances to help their own extended families back in their old
home lands.
In meeting Immigration Policy requirements, Employers are bound to
provide a reasonable living salary and a lengthy term of employment,
giving some real certainty to migrants taking such large steps. These
contracts must be set out in step with the current legislation in force at the
time protecting the contract parties. Costs of migrating will be negotiated,
including travel, visas, applications, family arrangements etc. It is
expected these will be dealt with on a personal basis and settlements
reached may be unique to each situation encountered.
